When we first looked in on the Un-Seelie Meat Market, [link] we saw that one of the new hunks of beef had been making trouble for the customers. So it was no surprise that the effete courtiers in the shop weren't very interested in it.

But someone else was. Ten-sei, a Seelie warlord from a nearby province had been watching from afar when this one had been captured by the Un-Seelie. He was impressed by its defiant spirit and immediately wanted it for his stable. So he sent one of his Un-Seelie attendants to the Meat Market Monday morning, where the owner was more than happy to sell it for a bargain price.

Now, as this prime piece of meat is being carried away to be sent to its new owner, the other shoppers are talking disdainfully about what a fool the buyer must be to have taken on such an unruly beast.

But Ten-sei is by no means a fool. He is a connoisseur of fine creatures, who delights in personally bending wild and untamed young bulls to his will. This new one will be a challenge, but that is part of what will give Ten-sei pleasure from it. And soon, no doubt, the warlord will be riding it like the champion he is.
